Compounding Pharmacists list at a glance

The MedicalProspects Compounding Pharmacists Email List has 1,274 verified compounding pharmacist contacts worldwide, updated October 2026. U.S. pharmacists are matched to an active NPI and state license and linked to a compounding pharmacy (NUCC taxonomy 3336C0004X) or FDA-registered outsourcing facility. Filter by sterile or non-sterile compounding, 503A or 503B, role and location.

Scope

Who is in the Compounding Pharmacists Email List

Compounding pharmacists prepare medications that are not commercially available in the form a patient needs: sterile injections and IV preparations, and non-sterile creams, capsules and liquids, including hormone, dermatology, pediatric and veterinary preparations.

In the U.S., compounding happens in two kinds of facility: 503A pharmacies that compound for individual prescriptions, and 503B outsourcing facilities that register with the FDA (FDA list of registered outsourcing facilities). There is no compounding code for individual pharmacists, so we identify them through the facility they work for.

Roles

Compounding pharmacists, pharmacists-in-charge, compounding pharmacy owners and sterile compounding supervisors

Not included

General registered pharmacists who do not compound, pharmacy technicians and pharmaceutical manufacturers

Facility types

503A compounding pharmacies, 503B outsourcing facilities, hospital IV rooms, infusion pharmacies and veterinary compounding pharmacies

Geography

United States plus international compounding pharmacists; the 1,274 total covers both

FAQ

Compounding Pharmacists list FAQs

How many compounding pharmacists are on the list?

The list has 1,274 verified compounding pharmacist contacts in the U.S. and internationally, current as of October 2026.

How do you identify compounding pharmacists?

There is no individual taxonomy code for compounding, so we identify licensed pharmacists who work at a compounding pharmacy, an FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facility, or in a hospital sterile compounding role.

Can I target 503B outsourcing facilities only?

Yes. Each record is linked to its facility, and 503B outsourcing facilities can be selected separately from 503A pharmacies.

Are hospital IV room pharmacists included?

Yes, when they hold a sterile compounding role. For hospital pharmacy leadership, add the pharmacy directors list.

How are compounding pharmacist records verified?

U.S. records are matched to an active NPI in CMS NPPES and to state board of pharmacy license status, and the pharmacy is matched to its organization NPI. Emails are verified before every delivery.
