How many contacts does MedicalProspects have?
MedicalProspects has 15.17M+ unique, deduplicated healthcare contacts (October 2026 refresh) across 474 specialty, executive, technology and facility lists. Because one professional can appear on several lists, list sizes overlap and are never added together. Each list page shows its own current count.
Where does MedicalProspects data come from?
U.S. clinical records are matched to the CMS NPPES registry (NPI number and NUCC taxonomy code) and to state license records. Executive and company contacts are verified against organization and public sources. International records are checked against national registers. Read the full data quality methodology.
How often is the data refreshed?
Monthly. Every list is re-checked against NPPES, state licensing boards and bounce data each month, and emails are verified again before every delivery. Each list page shows the month of its latest refresh.
What fields are included in a record?
Typical fields are name and credentials, specialty, title, employer or practice, business email, work phone and work address. U.S. clinical records also include the NPI number and NUCC taxonomy code. Each list page shows its exact fields and a sample record.
Do you cover healthcare professionals outside the United States?
Yes. The United States is our largest market, and list counts also include international records, which are checked against national registers. Ask for a count by country before you buy.
Do you sell patient data?
No. MedicalProspects sells business contact data about healthcare professionals and organizations only. We do not collect or sell patient data or protected health information.

How is pricing set?
Pricing depends on the number of records, the fields you need, and how narrowly the audience is filtered. We send a free count and a written quote before you commit, so you know the exact size and price of your audience first.
Do you sell ready-made lists or custom builds?
Both. There are 474 ready-made lists across specialties, executive roles, technology users and facility types, and any of them can be narrowed or combined into a custom audience by specialty, role, setting, geography or technology.
Can you enrich or update contacts we already have?
Yes. Send the records you already hold and we can fill in missing fields such as specialty, NPI or a verified business email, and flag contacts who have moved on. Ask about enrichment.
Delivery and guarantee
How is data delivered, and how fast?
As CSV or Excel files, with API delivery available for technical workflows. Most orders are delivered within 24 to 48 hours of confirmation. Columns follow standard Salesforce and HubSpot field names for easy import.
What happens if emails bounce?
Every order carries a 99% deliverability guarantee. If an email hard-bounces, report it to the team and we replace it one-for-one.
Compliance
Is it legal to email healthcare professionals with purchased data in the U.S.?
In the U.S., B2B commercial email is governed by the CAN-SPAM Act, which does not require prior consent but does require honest sender and subject lines, a physical mailing address, a clear way to opt out, and honoring opt-outs within 10 business days. Does HIPAA apply to healthcare contact lists?
HIPAA protects patient health information held by covered entities and their business associates. A professional business contact record, such as a physician's work email and practice address, is not patient health information. MedicalProspects data contains no patient information.
What about emailing contacts in Canada, the UK or the EU?
Rules are stricter outside the U.S. Canada's CASL generally requires consent, with limited exceptions. The UK and EU apply GDPR, and the UK adds PECR. Some EU countries, such as Germany, restrict unsolicited B2B email further. Check local rules with your counsel before emailing these contacts; see our compliance page.
How can someone remove their information from MedicalProspects?
